I am having a good morning. I remember how it feels to be on “pink clouds.” That naive feeling where nothing can go wrong. Whenever I feel like this I remember people telling me to get my head out of the clouds and keep my feet firmly on the ground. Then my friends Susan, BJ and I decided the best thing to do would be to wear Pretty Pink Patent Pumps. That way we could keep our heads in the clouds and our feet firmly on the ground. I think everyone should have Pretty Pink Patent Pumps.

Something Inside Me

“Something inside me lifts me up and the harder I stroke, the faster I climb. Yeah, that’s what flying feels like. It’s like swimming underwater – Only I can breathe.” - Madman*

Some superheroes suffer horrible accidents and are stitched back together. Tri-Eye Agent, Zane Townsend was in a horrible car accident. Doctors Boifford and Flem stitched and brought Zane back to life. However Zane was left with no memory of his past life. He only remembers affection to a superhero, Mr. Excitement. Since Zane could not remember his name, the two doctors named him Frank Einstein after Frank Sinatra and Albert Einstein. From his reanimation Frank received an acute ability to learn and remember, Psychometry, Empathy, Clairvoyance and Supernatural Reflexes. Frank uses the moniker Madman, because his powers are all mentally or psychically based. Now Frank is a traveling do it yourself, freelance, jack of all trades, and finding mysteries to solve by chance. To cover his blue skin, metal scalp and crisscross scars Frank wears a full uniform.

There are times that we feel so enlightened or excited that even walking on the street feels like flying. We feel as if we are sitting on the “pink clouds.” What a wonderful feeling that is – if only we could perpetually stay in that state. Unfortunately the universe cycles through and we most bring our feet to the mundane ground once again. DANG! When life is mundane and just cycling through take a moment each day and remember how it feels to fly high in the clouds. Take a moment to remember what it feels like laying on a beach without a care in the world. Take a moment to look out the window and notice the beautiful sunrise or sunset. “Oh wow! The clouds are pink!” Then the cycles won’t seem so “mundane”.
